A NEW SECTION DEDICATED TO YOUNG PEOPLE ON THE WEBSITE OF THE RÉSEAU BIBLIO DE L’OUTAOUAIS!

Gatineau, May 23, 2023. ‐ The Réseau BIBLIO de l'Outaouais and its member libraries are proud to present the new Kids Zone available on the Réseau BIBLIO de l’Outaouais website. It’s a custom‐made space for young people to have fun and learn new things.

The Kids Zone brings together resources, both surprising and fun, that are likely to interest young people. Books, magazines, manga, games and other resources, especially digital, will captivate young people while accompanying them in their learning.

BY-LAW 271-2021

REPLACING AND REPEALING BY-LAW 202-2014 AND PROVIDING FOR THE FIRE PREVENTION ON THE TERRITORY OF THE MRC DE PONTIAC

A new by-law from the MRC has changed the regulations governing outdoor fireplaces and open fires, the following text and images were forwarded to the municipality to help explain these new measures to residents.

* TRANSFER SITE NEW MEASURES *
Effective May 1st, 2022

The municipality of Sheenboro is asking for your help in controlling our transfer site costs. Some of these are just a simple reminder and others are new measures that will be effective as of May 1st, 2022.

Construction Material

We are not accepting any construction material at the transfer site in Sheenboro for the time being.

As of now, the only option is to bring all construction material to the transfer station in Clarendon, Qc. as we wait for news from the MRC.

Questions Concerning Assessments

Please take note that if you have questions concerning assessments you are to contact the MRC assessment service. This service is open to citizens by appointment only, on Wednesdays only. You can make an appointment by calling 819-648-5689 ext. 210.
